Recently moved to the area and have been on the hunt for some new favorite brunch spots. I'm a huge fan of the Stacks in Irvine so I was excited to hear about Plumeria Cafe! Majority of the menu is the same as Stacks (same amazing quality and huge serving sizes but better prices!) plus they have a larger variety of menu options in my opinion. It's located right at the entrance of Laguna Design Center and is easily spotted - just walk right through the entrance and it is on the left side. Hard to miss as there are always lots of people in line :) The parking lot is a bit tight but there are lots of spaces all throughout and even around the strip mall. It's a great choice for a breakfast or brunch - food is always amazing quality, service is super quick, and there is plenty of seating both indoor and outdoors. Some of my favorites are the options from their Lite Bites section (don't be fooled, the portions are more than enough for one) - the waffles, french toast, and plumeria fried rice are all yummy options. I've also had their katsu and kalbi plates and both were delicious! Highly recommend coming around opening - 8:30 am as the line can get pretty long but do not be discouraged if you arrive and are met with a queue, it goes by quite quickly. Will definitely be coming back a ton and recommending to my friends and family!

We decided to check this place out on our last day in Cali. Need someplace special to celebrate my kid's birthday. The blend of Hawaiian and American sounded interesting and the different options sounded yummy. Parking was a little tricky but just park around the back of the building and you can walk thru the courtyard. There was a line out the door but it moved fairly fast. Tons of seating both inside and out, even with a long line and on a holiday. I was a bit worried with the counter style order, but honestly- it works. Couldn't have waited more than 10-15 minutes in line and the food was delivered fast. It was SOOOOO good!!! We got the Oreo pancakes, Capital crunch French toast, lava pancakes and corned beef & hash and eggs. Only got a picture of the Oreo pancakes but everything great!! So many options that I cannot wait to come back and try more. I just wish they'd open a place in AZ!!! Highly recommend!!

With every visit to Plumeria I find more treasures to enjoy. Try the hash, or enjoy the Portuguese sausage with eggs, and don't forget that they are famous for their pancakes!

This Hawaiian-inspired restaurant is a HIDDEN GEM in Laguna Niguel, CA This bustling breakfast and brunch spot is nestled in the Laguna Design Center among art and furniture shops, trees (you can hear the birds) and fountain. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy some time with friends and family or come solo. Dog friendly place. We ordered the Portuguese Sausage & Bacon Omelette and Teriyaki Grilled Chicken Plate Lunch with a bowl of fruit instead of macaroni salad. Both were so flavorful and satisfying. There's often a line here but there is plenty of outside and inside seating.

Was in town for work and a colleague that lives here locally recommended Plumeria Cafe for lunch. It did not disappoint! The Chicken Katsu lunch place was so delicious. They do give you big portions so you'll definitely have some to go for later. I also had their Ube Latte and that was perfection. So good. Not too sweet, just how I like my latte. Staff that worked on August 15, 2024 during lunch was so nice and helpful. Will definitely come here again when Im in town for work.

Great spot with seating outdoors for your furry friends! Came here on saturday morning around 10 and there was already a line. The wait wasnt bad. Food came out pretty quickly after we ordered. Rating of food~ Triple Sear pork belly musubi: 5/5 Triple spam musubi: 5/5 Plumeria ice coffee jelly: 3/5 (was coconuty and i just dont like coconuts lol) Banana Nutella s'more belgium waffle: 5/5 Kalbi Korean bone in bbq with friend rice: 3/5 (a little too salty for my taste)

Excellent brunch spot located in a design center / home furnishings complex. A few tables inside, but really set up to be an open air environment as the majority of the tables are scattered about outside in a central area surrounded by businesses. Good selection of great tasting brunch items. Just be prepared to line up on weekends.

As a vegetarian, the sweet breakfast choices are reminiscent of their Hawaiian flavor and vibe, but I tend to opt for savory and didn't follow their Hawaiian inspired menu on my first visit. However, the tomato and avocado eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes was very well made so they know what they're doing. I did add salt and pepper to their potatoes, plus my favorite hot sauce. The restaurant is an "order at the counter, find a seat" sort of format. I went there on a Saturday at 11 am, so a wait was expected, but it was really only waiting in line to order. It isn't as bad as it looks! It gave me time to review their fairly large menu, which I debated on getting their macadema banana pancakes. Maybe next time! There is indoor and outdoor seating, and we were able to enjoy umbrella seating outside, which was very nice listening to the birds. The food came out quickly. Their hot sauce and other condiments are available in little packages by their counter.

My favorite kind of restaurant: order at the counter and sit down, severs bring food to you. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great value but a high quality meal. Friendly service. I love Hawaiian food and this place offers a ton of Hawaiian inspired breakfast and brunch options: loco moco, spam masubi, tropical pancakes. We've had some lunch items here (plate lunch), but found the lunch food just ok (meats were on the dry side). Tips: on the weekends the lines can be long but it keeps moving, you can order takeout ahead if you want. This restaurant is "hidden" inside a strip mall that seems to be mostly furniture stores. The restaurant is INSIDE the courtyard. When we have been parking has been tight but keep in mind you can also park in the back of the building and walk through the double glass doors into the courtyard also.

Staff: Very friendly. Called in my order and though it was really hard to hear the employee she was very patient and nice. At pick up the staff was very nice as well. Quality/Quantity: The food here is excellent! Portions are really good too. We ordered the following: 1) 2 eggs and protein + added pancakes 2) Full stack (3) chocolate chip pancakes 3) Side of bacon The pancakes are fluffy, flavorful, and over tasty. The chocolate chip pancakes are equally good. Don't miss the chocolate sauce to add to the top which I almost missed. The side of bacon was very generous in the amount given for a side. Value: $44 or so for our meal so fair. Overall: I think I may have found my new local favorite spot for breakfast. Pro tip: This spot is hidden for sure. You can't see it or access it from the front. Near the parking area there is a lawn type sign to direct you. You then go down a courtyard where you will find the restaurant on your left. There is outdoor seating. If you ordered online or by phone use the 2nd door around the corner. Great job Pulmeria! See you soon!
